Грандиозное здание Анийского кафедрального собора, шедевра зодчего Трдата, созданное в последней четверти X в., представляет интерес с разных точек зрения, в том числе изучения архитектурных деталей и резного декора. Богатое оформление барабана купола исследуется постепенно, по мере пополнения информации о нем и расширения возможностей проведения сравнительного исследования особенностей аркатуры, фриза и карниза. В статье внимание сосредоточено на капителях аркатуры, интересных своими формами и виртуозно исполненным резным декором, представляющим ряды пальметт с опущенными побегами. Выявлены возможные истоки формы и резных мотивов и отмечена вероятность ориентира Трдата на капители ордерной аркады барабана Эчмиадзинского собора, перестраивавшегося около 620 г. Представлены аналоги капителям Анийского собора на храмах армянской столицы как в эпоху Багратидов, так и при втором расцвете города в эпоху Закаридов. Исследование в очередной раз убеждает в том, что, опираясь на формы позднеантичного зодчества, Трдат мастерски их интерпретировал, стилизуя известные мотивы в соответствии с эстетическими потребностями эпохи и столичного общества.
The grandiose building of the Ani Cathedral, a masterpiece of the architect Trdat, created in the last quarter of the 10th century, is of interest from various points of view, including the study of architectural details and carved decor. The rich design of the dome drum is being explored gradually, as information about it is replenished and the possibilities for conducting a comparative study of the features of the blind arcade, frieze and cornice expand. The article focuses on the capitals of the blind arcade, which are interesting for their shapes and masterly carved decor, representing rows of palmettes with drooping shoots. The possible origins of the shape and carved motifs are revealed, and the probability of a landmark on the capitals in the order of the drum of the Echmiadzin Cathedral, which was rebuilt around 620, is noted. The analogues of the capitals of the Anii Cathedral on the churches of the Armenian capital are presented both in the Bagratid era and during the second heyday of the city in the Zakarid era. The study once again proves that, based on the forms of late Antique architecture, Trdat skillfully interpreted them, stylizing well-known motifs in accordance with the aesthetic needs of the era and the metropolitan society.
