Дворец Дюльбер на Южном берегу Крыма был построен в 1895–1897 гг. архитектором Н.П. Красновым не только по заказу, но и по эскизам великого князя Петра Николаевича. Случай неординарный для императорского дома Романовых. Однако архивных материалов о работе заказчика и исполнителя над этим проектом почти не сохранилось. Изучая малоизвестную «дюльберскую» коллекцию чертежей, хранящуюся в Музее Академии художеств и не введенную до сих пор в научный оборот, авторы статьи получили новые сведения об истории проектирования и строительства дворца. Атрибутирован цветной эскиз Дюльбера, выполненный самим Петром Николаевичем — находка тем более ценная, что оригиналов рисунков великого князя в России практически не сохранилось. Установлено, что обмерные чертежи здания, не идентифицированного ранее, относятся ко дворцу Али-Сарай, располагавшемуся на земельном участке, приобретенном великим князем для своего имения. Путем сопоставления архивных чертежей и исторических фотографий определено, что Дюльбер был построен непосредственно на месте Али-Сарая. Сохранившиеся проектные материалы Краснова не являлись окончательными, что дополнительно позволило проследить творческий процесс совместной работы заказчика и архитектора от идеи до ее воплощения. Дворец Дюльбер, вобравший в себя множество элементов мавританской архитектуры, но сконструированный по принципам уже зарождающегося модерна, стал оригинальным образцом жилой постройки в Крыму и положил начало новой моде. В подобной стилистике в последующие годы был построен ряд частных вилл по всему крымскому побережью.
The Dulber Palace on the southern coast of Crimea was built in 1895–1897 by the architect N.P. Krasnov not only by order, but also based on sketches of the Grand Duke Peter Nikolaevich. The case is unusual for the imperial house of Romanov. However, almost no archival materials about the work of the client and the contractor on this project have survived. Studying the little-known “Dulber” collection of blueprints, stored in the Museum of the Academy of Arts and not yet introduced into scientific circulation, the authors of the article received new information about the history of the design and construction of the palace. A color sketch of Dulber, made by Peter Nikolaevich himself, is attributed. The find is all the more valuable since almost no originals of the Grand Duke’s drawings have survived in Russia. It was established that the measured drawings of the building, which had not been previously identified, belong to the Ali-Saray Palace, located on a plot of land acquired by the Grand Duke for his estate. By comparing archival drawings and historical photographs, it was determined that Dulber was built directly on the site of Ali-Saray. The surviving design materials of Krasnov were not final, which additionally allowed us to trace the creative process of the joint work of the client and the architect from the idea to its implementation. The Dulber Palace, which absorbed many elements of Moorish architecture, but constructed according to the principles of the already emerging modern architecture, became an original example of a residential building in Crimea and laid the foundation for a new fashion. In a similar style, a number of private villas were built in subsequent years along the entire Crimean coast.
