В рамках комплекса зданий антверпенской Королевской академии изящных искусств здание Бюро благотворительности (Bureel van Weldadigheid) является охраняемым объектом архитектурного наследия Бельгии. Проект Бюро, выполненный В. Дюрле в 1886 г., является одним из его самых известных и значительных общественных проектов. Специфической особенностью оформления фасада здания является использование традиционных орнаментов бешлагверк и ормушель, а также элементов ювелирного орнамента, характерных для построек немецких и нидерландских мастеров XVII в. Целью статьи является комплексный анализ подобного рода памятника архитектуры с позиций стремления сохранения традиционных ценностей как в узком, архитектурном, так и в более широком, социальном контексте.
As part of the complex of buildings of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, the Bureau of Charity (Bureel van Weldadigheid) is a protected architectural heritage site in Belgium. The Bureau, designed by V. Durlet in 1886, is one of his most famous and significant public projects. A specific feature of the building’s facade design is the use of traditional Beschlagwerk and Ormuschel ornaments, as well as elements of jewelry ornamentation characteristic of the buildings of German and Dutch masters from the 17th century. The purpose of this article is to provide a comprehensive analysis of this type of architectural monument from the perspective of preserving traditional values in both a narrow architectural and a broader social context.
