В данной статье предлагается классификация триконховых церквей Ближнего Востока VI–VIII вв., расположенных в Тур-Абдине (Северная Месопотамия), Армении, Палестине. Отдельные памятники привлекаются из Египта и Алжира. Отсутствие опубликованных научных исследований по данной теме определяет новизну данной статьи. В результате проведенной систематизации наиболее значимых памятников выявлено два типа триконхов с подтипами в каждом из них. Первый тип представляют памятники без западного рукава, второй — с западным рукавом, т.е. крестообразные.

Исследование позволило приблизиться к пониманию места столь значимого памятника для архитектуры Тур-Абдина как церкви Эль-Адра (Йолдат Алохо) в Хахе (совр. Анытлы) в типологии триконхов.

This article proposes a classification of the triconch churches of the Middle East in the 6th–8th century located in Tur ‘Abdin (Northern Mesopotamia), Armenia, Palestine. Some monuments are attracted from Egypt and Algeria. The lack of published scientific research on this topic determines the novelty of this article. As a result of the systematization of the most significant monuments, two types of triconchs were identified, divided into subgroups.

The study allowed us to get closer to understanding the place of such a significant monument for the architecture of Tur ‘Abdin as the El ‘Adra Church (Yoldat Aloho) in Hah (modern Anitli) in the typology of the triconchs.
